Wheelchair rugby league is an adapted version of rugby league, designed for people with physical disabilities and is open to abled bodied too.
It is played on indoors courts, with teams of five players who use specialised sports wheelchairs. The game combines elements of rugby league and wheelchair basketball, featuring high-intensity action, strategic play, and physical contact.
Interested? We run a development session for new players looking to try out the sport every Tuesday evening, 7 to 8pm down at Cardinal Newman Catholic High School.
