Responsible to: Food-bank Project Manager
Responsible for: Collections and deliveries of foodbank stock.
Voluntary Hours: Part-time. Wednesdays 9.30-2.30 & occasional cover for sickness and holidays on other days as required.
Responsibilities:
• To collect donations from supermarkets and occasionally from local businesses as required.
• To deliver re-stocks from the warehouse to the distribution centres.
• To pick up Fareshare from a central collection point and deliver to distribution centres warehouse.
• Be responsible for the care of the foodbank van (re-fuelling, cleaning etc) all costs for this will be met by the foodbank. PERSON SPECIFICATION Experience:
• Full current UK drivers licence. (Van provided)
• Aged over 25 years (for insurance purposes)
• Confident driver with experience of driving a van preferred but not essential. Key Skills:
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Reliable, punctual and good time-management skills.

• Physically fit as some lifting is required, though for most tasks you will be accompanied by a driver’s mate to assist with heavy work.
